1.1. How do I upgrade my account?
To upgrade your account on the VBank App:

• Log into your V-App
• Tap on your profile icon
• Select “Update KYC Level”
• Upload the required documents based on your desired tier

1.2 What are the requirements for each tier?

Tier 1 ➝ Tier 2 Requirement:
• Upload your NIN slip (National Identification Number)

Tier 2 ➝ Tier 3 Requirement:

You can complete your address verification using either of the following methods:

Option 1: E-Verification: This is a system-based verification that automatically verifies your address using provided data sources. It is seamless and usually requires no document upload.

Option 2: Manual Document Upload
You’ll be required to upload a valid proof of address. Acceptable documents (not older than 3 months) include:

  • Utility bill

  • Waste bill

  • Bank account statement

  • Tenancy/rent agreement

  • House lease document

  • Any official address-bearing document

1.3 Why do I need to upgrade my account?
Upgrading your account increases your transaction limits and unlocks access to more banking features, such as higher daily transfer limits and other premium services.

1.4 How long does it take to upgrade my account?
Upgrades are typically reviewed and approved within 24–72 hours, depending on the completeness of the documents submitted.

1.5 What happens if my upgrade is rejected?
You’ll be notified and asked to re-upload a valid or clearer version of the required document.

1.6 What happens if I upload an invalid document?
Your request will be declined, and you’ll be notified to re-upload a valid document. Remember, documents must be clear, legible, and within the 3-month validity window.
