VFD Microfinance Bank Limited

This feature allows you to perform the following actions:

1. Request for a new Debit Card. This can either be physical or virtual


2. Activate your new Debit Card


3. Show Debit card full details


4. Change Card PIN


5. Reset Card PIN


6. Block Card


7. Unblock Card

Steps to Request for a new Debit Card (Virtual or Physical)

• Log into your V Bank App


• Select Cards


• Select Request New (on the top right corner of the screen)


• Select Card type i.e. Virtual or Physical


• Select account you want the card to be linked to (this will also be the account to be debited for the cost of the card)


• Complete the card delivery address (if Physical Card)


• Click on Request New Card


• Input your app PIN to authorize the request

Once submitted, Card automatically appears on your profile (if Virtual Card). For Physical Card, you will get a call for card delivery once the card is ready.

Steps to activate a new Physical Debit Card:

• Log into your V Bank App


• Select Cards


• Select Activate Card


• Click Physical


• Select Activate Physical Card


• Input the card details and the 4-digit PIN you wish to be using on the card going forward


• Click on Activate Card

Steps to change Debit Cards PIN:

• Log into your V Bank App


• Select Cards


• Click on the Debit Card Image you want to change the PIN


• Select Change Card Pin


• Input your current card PIN


• Provide the new PIN you want to change to (twice)


• Click on continue and provide your app PIN to authorize the transaction

To Reset Card PIN:

• Log into your V Bank App


• Select Cards


• Click on the Debit Card Image you want to reset the PIN


• Select Forgot Card PIN


• Input the new 4-digit PIN you want to be using going forward


• Click on Reset PIN and provide your app PIN to authorize the transaction

Steps to Block Debit Card

• Log into your V Bank App


• Select Cards


• Click on the Debit Card Image you want to Block


• Select Block Card


• Select reason for blocking card and click on Block Card


• Input your App PIN to authorize the request

Steps to Unblock Debit Card

• Log into your V Bank App


• Select Cards


• Click on the Debit Card Image you want to Unblock


• Select Unblock Card


• Select reason for unblocking card and click on Unblock Card


• Input your App PIN to authorize the request
